I was so upset when I found out that my beloved cat had been moved two and a half hours away from me. So I went out to Eden, Ontario and had a look to see where she had been buried. I was absolutely devastated to see where they had placed her. A communal burial with a really ugly monument and a bunch of filthy toys below. There is nothing else in this field but this ugly reminder. My vet did not ask permission to send her ashes to a place so far away so I have made other arrangements for my beloved Tribble. I also got a new vet. Such disrespect to my lovely cat.

We went to visit Gateway Sandy Ridge location for our little guys birthday. It was so heartwarming to see our Chinchilla Finnegan will be surrounded by other floofs (especially cats) as he was best friends with my senior cat Mittens who is still currently with us. We were very happy with his resting spot. There’s a wonderful bench to sit and a few momentos left by other owners which we’re hoping to return and leave a photo of our beloved boy! It was a very chilly day but of course worth the trip and temperature. Gateway has always and continues to be a wonderful company that provides wonderful after life services for furry friends and their family members. Thank you for the work you guys do❤️ We love the paw print we got back. Always do such an incredible job at showcasing their details

We recently used Gateway Pet Memorial for the cremation of our beloved dog, we’re so grateful for the care and compassion they showed during such a difficult time. They responded to us quickly and handled everything with great sensitivity. The process was efficient and respectful — we were informed every step of the way, and our dog was ready in less than two weeks. It brought us comfort knowing he was in good hands. Thank you for making this experience as smooth and thoughtful as possible.

Devastated
My dog passed away about 6 weeks ago so I took a long drive to visit his resting place hoping to be able to reflect and feel at peace. I left devastated and saddened that this is where my precious dog’s remains are. He deserved so much better.
Outside of the actual cemetery, on the lawn of the cemetery office, the ossuary sits neglected. No landscaping - not a single flower, plant - just a cracked structure sitting on uneven patio stones. Unlike the photo I was shown with a lovely bench and plants.
If I had known this is what it would look like I would never have made this choice.

My Lucy passed away suddenly sept 18 2021. We are still in shock. But I know she is well taken care of at Gateway as they also took care of My Gracie. The only downfall is I dont get the paw print, like I did with Gracie. I wasn't aware they charge a price now.
