We didn’t have a good experience at this facility a few months ago. When we arrived the woman in charge seemed almost annoyed that we were there and that she had to come open the gate for us. She was rude and was yelling at her own dog while we were driving in. We felt uneasy but didn’t have any other choice as our regular boarder was booked and the reviews seemed great. When we came to pick up our dog she leapt into our arms and almost dragged me to the car, terrified. That evening I took her on a walk and she started barking at a man walking past us, acting very afraid and unlike herself. This was apparently just the tip of the iceberg, ever since that weekend our dog has been absolutely terrified of men. I don’t know what happened, but it truly has changed our dog. We decided to cancel another booking we had made at the same time and the response was “k”.

We had our pup Sully groomed twice with Kim and had a great experience both times. His coat is so shiny and he is cleaned up very nicely!

Westmorland was more than just a boarding kennel for our Ollie; he had a blast! While we were away in PEI, he was making some friends and getting some great exercise in a wonderful country setting. He came back looking great; I don't think he wanted to leave!
Staff were honest and accommodating, and prices were reasonable (many kennels charge extra for exercise). Would use them again!

We needed a place to board our puppy while we were on a two week trip out of the country and came upon this place. What a great place!
It is clean, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and, most importantly, our pup Milo LOVED his time there.
We dropped him off for a daycare visit about a month prior to our trip and he was absolutely delighted with the place and meeting new dogs. This helped to allay our fears about separation anxiety.
When he was dropped off, he didn't look back and knew that he was going to be playing with other dogs. When we picked him up upon our return, he was so excited to see us but, he was still so excited to play with his dog friends and the staff! We received a full "report" on his stay which was quite informative. Upon getting him home, he was tired out and obviously enjoyed his time there.
We'll be using Westmoreland for any future trips that require kennelling and we'll also be dropping off our Milo for individual daycare events as he loved playing with the other dogs so much.
In short, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience all around. Lindsay organized my appointment and was excellent to deal with. Kim was absolutely amazing. She was extremely kind and compassionate with my dog and did a thorough and fantastic job on the bathing and grooming. Fees were very reasonable; I plan to be a repeat cusotmer. I cannot recommend Westmorland enough!
